Baked Shrimp Oregano


You want to talk about a quick recipe. I used a bag of frozen, thawed shrimp and this dish was just amazing and fed 4 people with leftovers. Give it a try. You can also use this an appetizer.

Ingredients: 
1 ½  lbs. raw shrimp, shelled and deveined
2 tbsp. lemon juice
½ stick of butter
1/2 c. packaged dry bread crumbs
3 crushed garlic cloves
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp.  Oregano
2 lemons

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large oven proof fry pan, heat garlic in butter. When in begins to bubble add in parsley and oregano. Squeeze juice of one lemon in to fry pan, add in shrimp,  bread crumbs and parmesan. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons lemon juice.  Mix well and heat for about 3 minutes. Place in oven and broil for 5-10 minutes, uncovered.  Serve immediately with lemon. Last night I served with brown rice.
